Selection criteria to be strongly considering:
» Only the following types of students can benefit from a grant for travel and stay costs:
   -Undergraduate students (having completed at least two years of study)
   -Graduate, postgraduate and doctoral students undertaking a further study programme
» English skills as essential requisite (Spanish language knowledge will be valuable merit)
» academic success

» oceanographic cruises experience

» international programme participation


9.4.- 3rd Yearly meeting (3 years) of the management commission at UAv. UAv 14-20 April, 2008 Responsible of the working-groups and external experts will meet in order to assure and upgrade where needed the overall project management All teaching materials will be ready and presented Call for European students mobility (BFU 2008) will be discussed.

4.2.- Technical preparation of CD module English version RSHU, EUCC June, 2008 RSHU and EUCC staffs are going to collect and evaluate the materials, modules and case studies in order to prepare the CD module in English version. The idea is to do a CoastLearn but in a deeper level .Galina is preparing some proposal about the evaluation of the materials

4.3.- Preparation of CD module Russian version RSHU June, 2008 RSHU staffs are going to prepare the CD module in Russian language as well as the web site will be translated into Russian language.

5.1.-1-month advisory course and field practices of 5 EU students on Baltic Floating University (3rd year) RSHU Middle of July, 2008
simultaneously to the closing project meeting at RSHU. The set date will be announced in the Aveiro Meeting
Selection criteria to be strongly considering:

The call for the BFU 2008 will be presented in the Coordination Meeting in the University of Aveiro where it is expected the assistance of all consortium members. All consortium members are able to present their candidates who carry out all selection criteria. Number of students is 5 (guaranteed).

Closing project meeting at RSHU RSHU.
Meeting place: on the coast of the Gulf of Finland near Saint Petersburg
14-18 July, 2008 It has been planned about 20 participants (RSHU staff included).

7.1.- Preparation of the needed documents for the accreditation of the ICM two-level system RSHU Along 2008 Only after the teaching license consortium members can include the mutual recognition of the master degree. Process of the recognition and the adoption should be posted on the web site as recommendation from the ETF.

Independent experts Along 2008 The final educational products (upgraded courses (ref. 2.1), new courses (ref. 3.1) educational CD module (ref. 4.2), review "ICM education in Europe" (ref. 6.3), results of the RSHU auto evaluation process (ref. 7.1) will be as-sassed by experts whose opinion will be exposed in the form of a report which must include the overall expert evaluation (intention letters).
